Moto is recently doing well in the Indian market by launching its feature-loaded g series smartphone in the Indian market. Motorola is trying to realize the people’s demand and launch its different g series smartphones like Moto g32, Moto g31, Moto g34, and others smartphones according to user’s requirements.

Moto g34 is one of the smartphones of the g series from Motorola, which provides interesting features at an interesting price point. In this blog, we will discuss all about this budget smartphone Motorola. Here is a quick review of it.

In the box of Motorola g34, we get the smartphone along with a 20W charging adapter and a type-A to type-C cable. Additionally, we also get a user manual and a SIM ejector pin. Unfortunately, Motorola did not provide any back cover in the box.

Moto G34 Physical Overview

Talking about the physical overview, the Motorola g34 has a power button and a volume control button on the right side. On the left side, we have a hybrid SIM slot, in the bottom we have a 3.5mm jack. Motorola provides a dual DOLBY Atmos speaker in this phone which gives an immersive sound experience.

The phone has three variants. One of the two variants has a plastic back and one variant has a vegan leatherette back. Which looks and feels different from the other two variants. Also, the vegan leather variant looks more premium than the other two.

All three variants have plastic frames. Which is obvious in this price range. In the front display, Motorola provides Panda glass protection. But we recommend you to use this smartphone with tempered glass.

The Motorola comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ 120Hz IPS display. This display has a punch hole in the top center. Bezels and chins are so ignorable. You can not even notice them after a few days of use. The multimedia experience is decent. We watched a few movies and YouTube videos the overall color, contrast are balanced. You can not complain anything about it at this price.

The phone also has 580nits of peak brightness. Which is enough to use it both indoors and outdoors. Even in bright sunlight, you do not face huge problems in terms of visibility. Viewing angles and screen-to-body ratio are also good in this smartphone.

This smartphone comes with a dual camera setup at the rear. A 50MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera along with an LED flash. In front, we get a 16MP front camera. This camera is capable of shooting max 1080p 30fps videos. Now let’s talk about how this camera is capable of taking photos. Different camera modes of this smartphone are portrait, panorama, night mode, macro, etc.

We click a few photos in both sunlight and dark light conditions. Overall the color, skin tone balance, saturation, and contrast are balanced in this camera. You can not expect very good detailed photos in this price range, but you can click decent photos with both the rear and front cameras.

This phone comes with a Snapdragon 695 processor. This is a 5G processor that comes along with 5G technology. If you are a tech freak you remember that this same processor was used in mid-range smartphones last year. Considering the price overall performance of this processor is quite good. We did not notice any lag or glitches in the UI. This processor does not throttle very much as a result you get a stable performance from this phone.

We also played a few games for a short time. We did not notice any lag in the HD graphics setting. Overall you will get a smooth gaming experience for casual gaming. Talking about the battery you will get a 5000mAh long battery with this phone, which gives you a daily day-to-day backup without any problem.

Moto G34 Privacy and Security Features

Privacy and security are very important for everyone, especially with smartphones. Because in these days people carry all their important documents and data on smartphones.

Some privacy and security features that Motorola provides in this newly launched Motorola g34 are side side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, pin, pattern, and password to lock your screen.

Moto G34 RAM and Storage

This phone launched with two storage and RAM variants. 4GB RAM 128GB storage and 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Motorola provides LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Which helps the processor to manage performance smoothly.

Overall the read and write speed of this smartphone is good. You can easily read and write files which also do not take a long time. Also, the app loading speed is quite impressive.

Moto G34 UI & Bloatware

Talking about the software the Moto G34 comes with Android 14, Motorola promises that they will provide 1 year of Android updates and 3 years of security updates in this phone. When we booted this phone for the first time we noticed a few pre-installed apps or bloatware in this smartphone. But you can easily uninstall them.

Moto G34 Network and Connectivity

This is a 5G smartphone that supports all important 5G bands for good connectivity. Other networks like 4G, 3G, and 2G are all supported in this smartphone. We used this phone using Airtel 5G SIM. In our area, we get a decent download and upload speed.

Other connectivity features of this smartphone are GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth, and NFC. All the important sensors like light sensors, proximity sensors, gyroscopes,s and more are also present in this g34 smartphone.

Conclusion

Overall in the verdict, we can say that this Moto G34 is a balanced smartphone at this price point. Also, it is a 5G smartphone. The price of this smartphone is around $132.35. If you are planning to purchase a new 5G smartphone on the budget you can consider this phone which provides a decent camera, battery, and performance.
